PolAir has retrieved the body of a kayaker who died north west of Dorrigo yesterday.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was found in rugged terrain on the Nymboida River near Bostobrick.
Two friends, who were also kayaking, tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
Police are still investigating the cause of death, but it’s not being treated as suspicious.
