A second person has died following a collision near Walcha, west of Tamworth.
Police say a motorbike crossed to the wrong side of the Oxley Highway last Friday, crashing head-on with a white utility.
The 39-year-old male motorbike rider died instantly.
His 35-year-old pillion passenger was airlifted to Tamworth Hospital, before being moved the John Hunter on Saturday.
She died yesterday morning.
