The New England Nomads have completed a hat-trick of Tamworth AFL titles, downing Inverell by 40 points in Armidale today.
The Saints had the home side worried at quarter time, taking a three point lead to the break.
New England recovered, before the match was called off in the third quarter due to a serious injury to an Inverell player.
Darren Pithers was taken to Armidale Hospital after being knocked unconscious.
