A man charged over a fire which destroyed a Sandy Beach house in March this year made a brief appearance in Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
Police allege Jamie Francis McMahon set fire to the two storey brick house in Rickard Road just after 6pm on Thursday the 6th of March.
They claim the 41-year-old was seen leaving the property just before fire crews arrived to fight the blaze.
McMahon is also facing a weapon’s charge and two drug possession charges.
He was granted bail, and will reappear before the court in November.
