WET TRACKS FORCE RESCHEDULING OF RACE MEETINGS

Wet weather has disrupted the north coast horse racing calendar.

The meeting planned for Monday in Coffs Harbour has been rescheduled, after the city received more than 200-millimetres of rain in 48 hours.

With no prospect of the track drying out before then, racing officials transferred the meeting to Grafton.

Today’s Grafton meeting was also abandoned but the track there is expected to be ready for racing come Monday.
