An investigation is underway after a Newcastle City Council worker died last night.
Police were called to the council depot on Turton Road at Waratah just after 6:30pm, where they found paramedics treating a 41-year-old man.
Unfortunately he was unable to be revived and passed away a short time later.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
