MAN CHARGED OVER ALLEGED CENTRAL COAST STABBING

A man has been charged following an alleged stabbing on the Central Coast.
About 8.30am yesterday, a 43-year-old man was travelling in a Subaru on McMasters Road, Blackwall, when a silver Holden Commodore pulled up next to the car.
A 38-year-old man allegedly got out of the Holden and approached the older man.
The two men had an argument, before the 43-year-old was allegedly stabbed in his abdomen.
The younger man took off in the Holden.
The victim was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.
He remains under police guard, in a serious but stable condition.
Police arrested four people soon after; a 38-year-old man and three women aged 26, 36 and 42.
All four were taken to Gosford Police Station, and the three women were released pending further inquiries.
The 38-year-old man was charged, and is due to appear at Gosford Police Station today.
Investigations are continuing, and anyone with information is urged to come forward.
