GAV’S WEATHER | INCREASED CLOUD BUILDING, ESPECIALLY FOR COAST

There’s limited cloud over the nation.

The local area is now seeing cloud increase, especially over the Northern Rivers today.

Partly cloudy skies were seen elsewhere.

A large high dominates the chart, drifting across south-eastern Australia into the Tasman.

As the high slides further east, the onshore winds will help build the cloud cover across northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland, triggering increased shower activity from Friday, continuing across the weekend.

The wet weather won’t be as frequent for the Greater Hunter, and the North West will remain dry.

Increased cloud for coastal communities in northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland.

A few isolated showers will drift through.

It will remain fine and partly cloudy for the North West, Tablelands and Greater Hunter.
