Two men were rescued from a sinking motorboat about 13 kilometres off Terrigal this morning.
Marine Rescue received a distress call from the skipper just after 9, who reported the boat was rapidly taking on water and the motor had failed.
The pair managed to plug the hole with a sock, before being brought to shore a short time later.
