It’s taken nearly three weeks but the awning behind the terrible tragedy at Burleigh has finally been cleared.
Property developer Chris Walton was killed when it collapsed two days before Christmas.
Shop owners hope business will now go back to normal.
“It makes the street a lot better, there’s a lot better feeling out there, so with a bit of luck things will pick up and it will go back to normal”
Surrounding shops will re-open tomorrow.
Police are still preparing reports for the coroner.
