An eight-year-old schoolgirl has been rushed to Gosford Hospital after being bitten by a venomous snake.
It’s believed the child was playing outside St Philip’s Christian College at Narara on the Central Coast, when she came across the red-bellied black snake.
She was bitten on the hand, but is expected to make a full recovery.
She’s now in a stable condition.
