A 32-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, following a stabbing in Tamworth.
Police allege the man produced two knives during an altercation with another man late yesterday afternoon on Sue Crescent, before stabbing him in the chest several times.
The 38-year-old was treated by paramedics and taken to Tamworth Base Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The 32-year-old was arrested and later charged with attempted murder and assault police.
He’s due to face court today.
