Quirindi’s Sam Carter is in contention to make his Wallabies debut against France next month after being named in his first national training squad.
The two metre tall second rower is the second member of his family to be called into an Australian squad, after his father David represented his country six times in the 80’s.
Carter is one of four uncapped players in the squad, and will head to the Gold Coast for camp on June 1.
