KURRI WOMAN WAKES TO FIND PROJECTILE HOLE IN WINDOW

A projectile has allegedly been fired into a Kurri Kurri house with three children and a woman inside.
Just after 1:30am, the woman in the house was woken by a motorcycle travelling up and down the street.
After hearing a loud noise, the woman walked to the front of the Greta Street house and saw a hole in the window.
She also noticed holes in a lounge room wall and a kitchen window.
Police were called, and as they approached the address, they allegedly witnessed a black vehicle driving erratically.
Police stopped and searched the vehicle, and allegedly located a quantity of ammunition inside, while a firearm was also allegedly discovered on one of the occupants, a 22-year-old male.
The man, and two other people in the vehicle – an 18-year-old woman and another 22-year-old male – were arrested.
Police say they later located several holes in the driver’s door of a motor vehicle at the house.
