Anti-CSG protestors are celebrating a victory and have begun returning home after a lengthy protest in Bentley.
It follows the suspension of Metgasco’s gas exploration license.
Protestors say they have mixed feelings about leaving the site.
“We’re all very happy that it’s over, but of course This camp has been a central park of the campaign… people have been living here for some weeks, even months, so there’s a certain emotional attachment to the place.”
They claim it was the first major step in ending the CSG threat in the Northern Rivers.
