Member for Page calls on Federal Government to match State’s $500 million for buybacks

There are calls for the Federal Government to increase funding for the floods buyback scheme.

It follows reports that the State Government has committed $500 million dollars for flood affected Northern Rivers residents.

Member for Page Kevin Hogan is calling on the the Federal treasurer Jim Chalmers match the funding commitment immediately.

The New South Wales government is yet to confirm the funding.
