LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT FOR PANTHERS AFTER JUNIOR’S DEATH

The Sawtell Panthers have been given a portable defibrillator by the Men of League organisation, following the on-field death of promising junior Jake Kedzlie a year ago.

Jake’s relatives and club officials were on hand to receive the equipment.

Men of League Manager Ben Ross said, “We were more than willing to help, a defibrillator is something that means a lot to this club, Jake means a lot to the people around here so it was the best thing we could do for them.”

Jake was the grandson of league legend Tommy Raudonikis.
