A contract dispute has stalled the completion of a new rock revetment wall at Tuncurry.
Great Lakes Council says it’s working with the head contractor to resolve the issue.
In the meantime, council is undertaking minor works at the site to make the area safe and usable over the Christmas period.
Work to rebuild the structure began in September, after a series of storm events caused parts of the wall to fail.
