The Joint Regional Planning Panel has given the green light to a major development on the Tweed.
The Panel met this morning to discuss the $20-million expansion of the Tweed City shopping centre on Minjungbal (MIN-JUNG-BULL) Drive.
It will see the creation of a new entertainment precinct with playground, restaurants, and shops
All up an extra 4,000 square metres will be added to the existing site.
“We have made the determination, council will now issue the consent to the developer and it’ll be up to them who’ve obviously got to prepare detailed construction management plans and the like”
