Paramedics revived a dog rescued from a house fire in Cessnock this morning that destroyed 50% of the home.
Several streets were closed this morning following a house fire in Church Street Cessnock.
Thick smoke billowed over the neighbourhood around 10am with police evacuating neighbours in the immediate area.
Fire and Rescue crews remain at the scene as investigations into the blaze get underway.
