A 51-year-old man has been charged with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy at a hotel in the Hunter-region this week.
The boy told police yesterday he’d been drinking with a man at a licensed premises in the Hunter Valley on Wednesday night before being indecently and sexually assaulted.
The boy, who was intoxicated, was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The man was arrested last night and charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault and committing an act of indecency on a child under 16.
He will appear in Maitland Local Court today.
