A marine biologist has confirmed a three-metre tiger shark was responsible for the attack that killed bodyboarder Zac Young on the weekend.
Marine Biologist Amy Smoothey completed a detailed forensic analysis of the teen’s injuries including an analysis of jaw width.
The shark fits the description given by Mr Young’s friends who struggled with the shark before dragging the surfer ashore.
