The sister of a man shot and decapitated in his Broadwater home has begged his killer to reveal the location of her brother’s head.
Margaret Simmons made the plea at the sentencing hearing of 47-year-old Jonathon Andrew Stenberg at Sydney’s Supreme Court.
54-year-old Edward ‘Ned’ Kelly was murdered on the New South Wales north coast in June last year.
His head has never been found.
Mr Kelly’s partner also made a submission, speaking of the depression she has suffered since his death.
Stenberg, a former Australian Defence Force engineer, was arrested near Darwin after leading police on a six-day manhunt.
