PARLIAMENTARY INQUIRY INTO BOWRAVILLE MURDERS

An inquiry will be held into the murders of three young aboriginal people at Bowraville on the mid north coast, almost 23 years ago.
The New South Wales Upper House today voted unanimously for the parliamentary inquiry, following recent protests in Sydney.
16-year-old Colleen Walker has never been found, but the bodies of Clinton Speedy-Duroux, aged 16, and four-year-old Evelyn Greenup were located in bushland near the Bowraville Aboriginal mission.
No one has been convicted over the case.
