Police are bracing for an influx of schoolies revellers in Byron Bay, with New South Wales students joining the celebrations.
The party started for Queensland students a week ago, with many opting to head south to the Northern Rivers.
So far police have made just three arrests.
“They included an assault matter, and also a possession of prohibited drugs, which is unfortunately a common occurance within the Byron Bay area at this stage.”
