An 18-year-old woman has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a man was stabbed at Gloucester over the weekend.
In the early hours on Saturday, an altercation occurred outside a home on Avon Street between the woman and a 20-year-old man.
Police allege the woman stabbed the man with a knife, causing a laceration to his abdomen, before she left the scene.
Yesterday the woman appeared in Taree Local Court where she was bailed to reappear in January.
The man is expected to make a full recovery.
