POLICE SEIZE HUNDREDS OF CANNABIS PLANTS ON NORTH COAST

Hundreds of cannabis plants have been found on a property near Coffs Harbour.

The haul, with a street value of $1.5-million, was discovered when police searched a property at Goodwood Island.

777 plants, 2 kilos of cannabis leaf, seeds, hydroponic equipment and cash were taken from the house.

54 plants were growing inside in a hydroponic set-up while more than 700 were growing outside.

It’s unclear whether police have arrested anyone over the haul.
