TEEN CYCLIST LOOKS TO SET WORLD RECORD

A young cyclist from the United Kingdom has made Forster his starting point, in a world record attempt for the fastest crossing of Australia by a junior.
13-year-old Siam Juntakereket is looking to cycle 4,000 kilometres to Western Australia alongside his coach, while raising money for British charity Comic Relief.
“Feeling a little bit nervous that it’s the first day and see how it goes, but really excited to get off,” Siam said.
The current record sits at 44 days, with Siam hoping to take less than 30.
