The Harrington Hurricanes could make the switch from rugby union to league in 2014, with the club applying to play in the Hastings League competition.
The club failed to make the finals in the Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union competition this year, knocked out by the Forster-Tuncurry Dolphins who went on to win the premiership.
The application will be discussed at the Hasting League’s general meeting on November 30.
