TODDLER DIES AFTER PULLED FROM BACKYARD SWIMMING POOL

A toddler has died after being pulled unconscious from a backyard swimming pool on the Central Coast.

The 2-year-old boy was dragged from the pool in Chain Valley Bay on Wednesday afternoon.

He was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition, but later died in hospital.

Police are still investigating the accident.
