The DPP has withdrawn all charges against a policeman involved in a crash during a pursuit near Newcastle.
Senior Constable Paul Larson lost control of the police car while chasing a motorcyclist at Redhead last August.
Both he and his colleague suffered serious injuries.
The 36-year-old was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
The matter was due for hearing in Newcastle Local Court today but the Director of Public Prosecutions made a last minute decision to drop all charges.
