MORE DAMAGE AT MT SUGARLOAF

The mining company behind the environmental disaster in the Mount Sugarloaf Conservation Area has revealed even more damage.

In a statement, Glencore Xstrata says its discovered another grout spill, approximately 120 metres in length, during a routine inspection.

The company has been under fire, after failed subsidence works at its West Wallsend underground mine, turned a creek bed into concrete.
