Port Macquarie’s Lauren Kitchen has been selected for the Australian team to compete at the World Cycling Championships in Florence, Italy from Sunday.
The 22-year-old will join six others on the Elite Women’s team, including Tiffany Cromwell who was the Australian Female Road Cyclist of the Year in 2012.
While Tamworth’s Sam Spokes, who is a former member of the Port Macquarie Cycle Club has been selected in the under 23 men’s team.
