COFFS COUNCIL CONSIDERS 1350 SUBMISSIONS ON FORESHORE

Coffs Harbour City Council is studying public feedback on plans for the redevelopment of the jetty foreshore.

The council received more than thirteen hundred submissions and comments from members of the public before the closing date last month.

Project Manager Sharon Smith says the feedback on the draft plan was predominantly positive and most people realised there were no provisions for high rise development.

Artistic impressions and diagrams of the proposal were displayed at the Sunday markets, in council offices and online.

A final plan for the project is expected later this year.
