A 40-year-old woman will face Newcastle Local Court after police allegedly located a number of firearms at her house in Mayfield yesterday.
At about 10am police searched a house on Maitland Road and allegedly found 2 rifles and more than 100 rounds of ammunition.
The woman was arrested and taken to Waratah Police Station.
She is due to face court later this month.
