TEEN ARRESTED AFTER MAN SHOT WITH PELLET GUN

Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after a man was shot with a pellet gun in Raymond Terrace over the weekend.
Officers say a 16-year-old boy was arguing with a 22-year old man at a party on Scott close, when the 16-year-old shot the 22-year-old in the head with a pellet gun.
The boy, along with a few others fled but were chased by a group of partygoers, officers believe a second group was also armed with a pellet gun.
They lost sight of the youths and called police.
The 22-year-old was treated for an injury to his forehead and taken to hospital.
A 16-year-old was arrested about an hour later, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and will appear before Raymond Terrace Children’s Court on Wednesday 18 September, 2013.
