A truck driver has had a lucky escape, when the rig he was driving collided with a prime mover on the M1 south of Tuggerah, just before 11 this morning.
The north-bound semi was laden with bricks when it was sideswiped by another truck, which was attempting to change lanes.
The impact caused the front cabin to buckle and collapse.
Luckily no one was in the passenger’s seat at the time of the accident.
Both drivers were were unhurt.
