93 drivers have learnt the hard way, that speeding just isn’t worth it, during a police blitz on the Southern Gold Coast this morning.
In just 10 minutes, our camera filmed five people being pulled over on Bermuda Street, at West Burleigh.
The highest reading was 101, in an 80 zone.
“There’s so much traffic across our border here that we are fining motorists from NSW and indeed also our own motorists here in QLD committing offences”
In some positive news, 211 people were randomly breath-tested, but not one blew over.
