With music lovers getting their fix over the weekend at Splendour in the Grass it’s now time for the region’s bookworms to indulge in a bit of festival fun.
In just two days the who’s who of Australian literature will be in Byron Bay celebrating this year’s writers festival.
Writing royalty and two time booker prize winner, Peter Philip Carey is one of many authors scheduled to appear over the three day event.
The festival kicks off at the North Byron Events Site on Friday morning.
