In a major coup for the Taree Wingham Race Club, champion horse trainer Lee Freedman will make a special appearance at next month’s Gold Cup Carnival.
Freedman is arguably one of Australia’s most successful trainers, having won five Melbourne Cups, four Caufield Cups and four Golden Slipper races during his career.
He’ll address around 200 people at the Gold Cup Calcutta dinner, before attending the main race day on Sunday the 18th of August.
