An Ashmore woman has returned home from a morning walk to find two masked men robbing her Currumburra Drive house.
Police say one punched the 40 year old and threatened her with a knife.
They then forced her to open a safe, taking jewellery and cash.
“She’s quite terrified, she’s quite shaken up, and we’ve got CIB staff and forensic staff on scene at the moment and they’re gathering as much evidence as they can.”
It’s the second home invasion on the Gold Coast in as many days.
