There could be a green shift in focus at the Hunter Valley Research Foundation when it welcomes a new CEO later this year.
Dr Brent Jenkins will take over from Dr Wej Paradice in November.
Previously the CEO of Newcastle Innovation, Dr Jenkins says he’s looking forward to pursuing an environmental agenda.
“How we manage agriculture and mining, they’re issues that we’re going to have to continuously deal with and an organisation like the HVRF should be at the forefront of those issues”, he said.
Dr Paradice is retiring after 30 years with the organisation.
