The Northern New South Wales Local Health District has upped the anti in its quest to find a new GP for Bonalbo.
The health service has launched a nationwide recruitment campaign, and is even considering upgrading the town’s medical facility to make the job more attractive.
“What we want to do is look at the feasibility of having a combined acute and aged care facility also having the doctors rooms located the Bonalbo hospital campus.”
Bonalbo has been without a doctor since its long standing GP retired, 18 months ago.
