The New England Highway has been blocked in the Upper Hunter after a truck hit an overpass at Liddell between Singleton and Muswellbrook.
Concrete from the overpass has fallen onto the road, hitting a car.
No one as been injured.
The Highway is closed in both directions at Hebden Road, motorists are advised to use the Golden Highway.
