90 YEAR OLD SUSPENDED BY HIS SEATBELT
Emergency crews worked to free a 90 year old man, who was hanging by his seat belt, after rolling his car on Harbour Drive last night.
“He was extracted by ambulance and fire brigade before being treated and conveyed to Coffs Harbour hospital in a satisfactory condition.”
Witnesses say the accident happened at around 5.30 – the car flipping after the elderly driver ran into a parked car.
“I was inside preparing tea and I came down when I heard a big bang and someone who was driving down the road had crashed into the side of my car, which was parked on the side of the road.”
The man has undertaken mandatory blood and alcohol tests.
