Rain forced the finals of the Silver Nugget bowls tournament inside today.
Matthew Pieterson from New South Wales took out the men’s final, while Sarah Boddington, also from south of the boarder, took out the women’s title.
The winners automatically qualify for the Golden Nugget Competition, which will be held at the Tweed Heads Bowls Club in August.
