A heated argument on a suburban street in Goonellabah this morning has ended with a man being stabbed and another rushed to the Gold Coast hospital with life threatening injuries.
It’s alleged a 29 year old man and his 19 year old friend were at an address on Eggins Place when an argument erupted with two men aged 53 and 17.
Police say a brawl erupted on a nearby street shortly after.
It’s alleged the 17 year old man received a slash wound to his chest and the 29 year old sustained serious head injuries during the altercation.
Investigations are continuing.
