MAN ESCAPES FROM BOOT AFTER ALLEGED ABDUCTION

A man has escaped from the boot of his car after allegedly being abducted at gunpoint in the Hunter.
Police say the 22-year-old told them he was threatened by a man wielding a firearm, and forced into his Commodore at Thornton at around midday.
He was driven to a dirt road at nearby Woodberry, where he was told to get into the boot.
The man used his phone to call police, who talked him through ways to free himself from the car using an emergency release tab.
He escaped unharmed.
Police spent the afternoon searching for the offender who’s described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, of slim build, and was wearing a beanie, blue hoodie and trackpants.
That’s too Close to Call, that’s one Lucky Guy. Find this Guy, Police or you Guys will have to Take Him Out when you Find Him. OK!
Thank You,
From Chris.
