In just over a week, meat lovers from across Australia will descend on Casino for one of the region’s quirkier festivals.
Beef Week kicks off next Saturday and organisers are pulling out all the stops to make 2013 is a cut above the rest.
“60 odd events throughout the eight days so it’s a busy week for the town and it’s great, the community enjoy it and get right behind it.”
Around 40 000 people are expected to visit the town over the eight day festival and organisers are adamant the visiting carnivores won’t be going hungry.
“We have ordered our half a tonne of beef and the butchers have got that right under control.”
