The public will be shut out of early courtroom proceedings, when police fight to have the Gold Coast chapter of the Finks Bikie Gang declared a criminal organisation.
Both police and lawyers for the Finks today urged the court to close preliminary hearings.
It’s likely the full Supreme Court hearing, set down for six weeks in October, will also be closed to the public.
If police win their battle, Finks will be barred from meeting at their Molendinar clubhouse, wearing colours, or going into business together
